INDIVIDUAL CONSTELLATION WORK
Individual systemic constellation work is a way to take the experiential process for ancestral and generational healing (developed by renowned European psychotherapist Bert Hellinger) and apply it to an individual without using a group format. The process is referred to as a “systemic constellation” because it demonstrates the energetic (unseen) relationship forces that bind members of a system together, such as a family or work system. These unseen forces have the power to entangle us in fates that do not belong to us, fates dating back over two, three or more generations. Many times, physical, emotional and spiritual issues often have their true roots in our family of origin. Families have a collective unconscious that can extend through generations and entangle those who follow with fates of those who came before. These profound energetic bindings of the larger family system are usually unconscious and can result in unexplained feelings of isolation, depression, anxiety, addictions, repeated failed relationships, physical illness and even suicidal thoughts. For example, a son haunted by depression is unconsciously entangled with his grandfather’s unexpressed grief for a brother lost in the war. As children, we can unconsciously take on a parent or relative’s ill health, depression, or unfavorable life experiences through unconscious family loyalty or “blind love”. Family constellation work can reveal these hidden loyalties to forgotten, betrayed or suffering family members, positioning the system for healing. In setting up your individual constellation, finding the things that bind you to your family’s fate can be revealed and healed, setting you free to create your life anew. |
