GROUP CONSTELLATION WORKSHOPS
Group constellation work is an experiential healing process developed by renowned European psychotherapist Bert Hellinger for ancestral and generational healing. Due to its profound nature, it has spread rapidly, gaining an international and local presence. The process is referred to as a “constellation” because it demonstrates the energetic (unseen) relationship forces between members of a system allowing them to actually be observed. These unseen forces have the power to entangle us in fates that do not belong to us, fates dating back over two, three or more generations. Many times, physical, emotional and spiritual issues often have their true roots in our family of origin. Families have a collective unconscious that can extend through generations and entangle those who follow with fates of those who came previously. These profound energetic bindings of the larger family system are usually unconscious and can result in feelings of isolation, depression or anxiety, addictions, failed relationships, physical illness and even suicidal thoughts. For example, a son haunted by depression is affected by his grandfather’s unexpressed grief for a brother lost in the war. As children we can unconsciously take on a parent or relative’s ill health, depression, unfavorable life experiences through “mis-guided” love and unconscious family loyalty. Family constellation work can reveal these hidden loyalties to forgotten, betrayed or suffering family members, positioning them for healing. In setting up your own constellation, finding the things that bind you to your family’s fate can be revealed and healed. Constellation work has also been brought into the realm of the business world and offers insight on how businesses grow and develop offering impressive solutions to complex issues. |
